Freezer Meals pt. 1

I have never enjoyed cooking. I love to eat, but the idea of cooking every night never appealed to me. In 2014, I began my meal planning journey. I started with Pinterest because I’m obsessed with the site. I started looking at all the planning options and became overwhelmed. I needed a system that worked for my family and me.

I don’t believe in diets so please don’t look for advice on my blog on that. I believe in regularly eating food not pre-packaged and low sodium. Those are my two rules. don’t believe in diets so please don’t look for advice on my blog on that. Meal planning to me needed to be a short process I could do at the end of a busy school day. I loved my slow cooker so freezer meals became my way of life for over five years.

Full Disclosure, I’m a freezer meal evangelist. I believe that anyone who doesn’t enjoy cooking, but wants to eat real food should try freezer meals. However., its not a clean process. Meal prep takes time and it’s messy. I do have a second refrigerator which makes it easier. However, it’s not necessary. I’m not committed to do breakfast, lunch, and dinner freezer meals. I started off with dinner only with four or five meals a week only. If you are single or have a large family freezer meals can work for you . Start 2020 committed to freezer meals if you are tired of eating out!
